Two From McLaughlin Legal Named 2019 Super Lawyers

– Kevan McLaughlin, Mauro Colabianchi recognized for outstanding ratings in tax law –

Kevan McLaughlin and Mauro Colabianchi of McLaughlin Legal, a law firm providing tax litigation and controversy, estate planning, trust administration, tax preparer and CPA defense services, received their 2019 San Diego “Super Lawyers” and “Rising Star” designation earlier this week.

This year’s peer rating of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas lauded both attorneys for their work in tax law.

“We’re extremely proud of this honor,” said McLaughlin. “We feel it conveys our adherence to the firm’s core values of personalized service, concentrated practice areas and a commitment to our clients. It’s in this spirit that we work hard every day to protect individuals and companies’ rights while also helping them enjoy tax efficient endeavors and preserve their wealth in keeping with their greater family or business goals.”

The Super Lawyers and Rising Star programs select attorneys using a patented, multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations get screened alongside third-party research. The program evaluates candidates on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement with selections announced on an annual, state-by-state basis. Rising Stars note attorneys 40-years-old or younger or in practice for fewer than 10 years. Only five percent of the lawyers in the state get named to Super Lawyers and no more than 2.5 percent can receive an appointment to the Rising Stars list.
